About the event

Join us on February 4 as Sam Ferguson, rector at The Falls Church Anglican, discusses Reformed confessionalism in the Anglican tradition, its character, history and hopes for the future. This lecture is a part of the RTS Washington 30th anniversary History & Hope Church Lecture Series. Local church members along with RTS students, alumni, and friends of the seminary are all welcome.

For three decades, RTS Washington has worked closely with multiple denominations and confessional traditions to prepare their pastors and other church leaders in the mid-Atlantic region and beyond. The History & Hope series features lectures by leading representatives of the denominations and traditions RTS Washington most frequently serves.

Sam Ferguson has served as the Rector of the Falls Church Anglican since 2019 and is an ordained presbyter in the Anglican Church in North America.

Scott Redd is the president and Stephen B. Elmer Professor of Old Testament at the Washington, D.C. campus of Reformed Theological Seminary.
